We believe that, school is the best setting to educate children about health and fitness, the importance of physical activity and to promote lifelong healthy habits.

PRIMARY SCHOOLS:

We believe that school is the best setting to educate children about health and fitness, the importance of physical activity and to promote lifelong healthy habits. We offer a wide range of classes throughout primary schools, these classes include;

BREAKFAST CLUBS:

Give your child the best start to the day by bringing them to one of our breakfast clubs! Your child will have an active and stimulating start to their day, kick starting them with endorphins and speeding up their metabolism, keeping them happy and healthy.

LUNCH TIME CLUBS

Due to the factor of limited time, LTCs tend to be restricted to match play. But the match play is always appropriately organised, with rules always being adhered to. With order and learning still taking place in this competitive energetic environment across numerous invasion games. We also take a load off lunchtime monitors, who have less children to chase around the playground!

PPA

All our Infant PE sessions at LFS engage and excite, with use of equipment to replicate themes that the kids love, like animated films and superheroes.

We start with role play exploring the area and using specific movements that mimic the characters that inspire their imaginations. Then we play games where they compete in fun ways against each other, linking to the story line, testing and improving their ABCs. We finish with a climatic team game that continues the season theme, with the children deep in the created world and working on communication, teamwork and winning tactics.

AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS:

FOOTBALL!

Our after-school clubs are a fantastic combination of sport and education. These fun sessions are run by fully FA qualified coaches with years of experience working with children. Each week the children will learn about a different football icon, from past players to current professional footballers.

Learning about their attributes and playing fun games that are designed to increase these attributes. Each session finishes with a football match or a multiple team tournament, as it has been shown that playing the game is the best way to enhance their ability and learn the rules of football.

SUPER SPORTS!

Our super sport after-school club is designed to help children with their overall sporting ability. This is a games bass club where 90% of the lesson is spent on match time.

As the PE sports curriculum does not cover a large amount of games-based activities, we feel it is necessary for children to learn through their experiences of playing each sport.

Each week a different sport is covered with a large number of different sports being played, these sports include; tennis, cricket, rounders, hockey, gymnastics, athletics, rugby, basketball, netball and even some sport you wouldn’t find in the curriculum such as handball and kickball
